Mr. Blaylark is currently a Corrections Officer with Ramsey County. His work includes counseling inmates and directing them to self-assisting programs that may assist with ending the cycle of re-offending.
Mr. Blaylark served as the Administrative Training Coordinator for the MSP Airport Police Department. He has held this position since 2007, in this position he works to develop and coordinate and implement training for the police department and MSP Airport. He currently was the lead instructor for the Airport Police and Badging processes (3000 staff trained to date); other trainings include but are not limited to CPR/AED/Blood borne Pathogens, Traffic Management, MN Safety Council and Smith Drivers Safety programming and course development via (LMS) Learning Management Systems.
Prior to this current position he was the Community Service Officer Program Coordinator for 7 years. In this position he provided, coordinated and implemented trainings for frontline supervisors, program training officers and Airport Police Department Community Service Officers. Created traffic management plans and coordinated special event traffic with outside agencies. His primary duty was the guidance and grooming of Community Service Officers to become reliable members of many metro area police agencies.
In addition to his full time position Mr. Blaylark hosts one of the largest youth martial arts programs in the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation system. Youth are trained in conflict resolution, self-de-escalation and physical agility. This training leads to greater focus in school, acceptance of and respect for authority figures in the child’s life and renewed self-respect. The ages range from 7 years of age to 14 years old.
Erik R. Bergling is a security professional with nearly 25 years of security/military experience. Immediately following high school, Erik enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, with a vision of later working in law enforcement, Erik knew he wanted to serve from the start of his career. To the benefit of the private sector, Erik was injured in a training incident and medically retired and is now a certified disabled veteran. Upon retirement from the military, he worked in the security and risk management industry in numerous roles. Realizing the security market lacked a customer service driven security vendor, Erik founded EPG Security Group in 2007, bringing with him his Marine Corps training and work ethic.
From its inception and under Erik’s leadership, EPG Security Group developed an illustrious client list including celebrities, politicians, major corporations, and national sporting agencies. Through significant market share of the security industry in Minnesota, Erik expanded his operations to include licenses to operate in Wisconsin, Washington D.C., and Florida. Erik’s team expanded the security firm’s service offerings to include protecting schools, places of worship, community centers, special events (concerts, sporting events, etc.), and as of 2014, medical marijuana facilities. The security firm also provided protective services for the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Republican National Conventions and continues to work closely with many national level officials and organizations.
In the earlier years, Erik initially spent much of his career in entertainment security. This experience gave him a solid foundation in customer service and the importance of always anticipating every client need. Erik currently provides close protection for numerous; professional athletes, politicians, and international diplomats. Erik’s talent and skill for performing risk analysis and responding to incidents with kindness, compassion, and professionalism sets him apart from other security industry leaders.
In 2019, Erik joined the team at Aegis Logistics to work Special Projects and Business Development, bringing with him his extensive network of professional resources.
Erik currently lives in Minneapolis with his Fiancée and his 10 year old twin boys. In the rare occurrence Erik isn’t working he enjoys international travel, live music and great food.
Hanna Provost brings 11 years of management experience to Aegis Logistics, LLC. Customer service, employee relations, security, as well as client management are some of her strong suits. Hanna has two grown daughters, loves Prince with a passion and enjoys spending time with her family.
